Knicks 114, Bucks 108: Carmelo Anthony made his debut as a Knick and helping them to a six point win. Early in the season quarter New York jumped to an 11-point lead, but Milwaukee quickly erased that lead. The game stayed pretty close for the rest of the time, but the Knicks put this one away with free throws. New York shot 50 percent from the field and just 36.4 percent (8 of 22) from three. Carmelo Anthony shot 10 of 25 from the field finishing with a team-high 27 points (10 rebounds). Chauncey Billups also made his debut as a Knick scoring 21 points (4-12 from the field). Amar’e Stoudemire had 19 points and five rebounds.
Milwaukee knew they would have their hands full with the Knicks addition of Carmelo Anthony. Despite an 11-point deficit, the Bucks didn’t back down. They shot 43.9 percent from the field and 47.8 percent (11 of 23) from beyond the arc.  John Salmons was the leading scorer with 27 points; Andrew Bogut (12 rebounds) and Carlos Delfino each had 14 points.
