The Milwaukee Bucks are one of three-teams fighting for the eighth and final playoff spot. Right now the Indiana Pacers are holding on to eighth one game ahead of Charlotte and three ahead of Milwaukee. Monday night the Bucks played the Bobcats where they were down eight and took a nine point lead with 10:08 left in the fourth.
Fast forward to 22 second left in the game Gerald Henderson hits a jump shot to give the Bobcats a 87-86 lead. Next possession the Bucks had a chance to take the lead, but Brandon Jennings missed the layup. The Bobcats had trouble inbounding the ball which allowed Brandon Jennings to steal the ball for another layup, but that one was missed. A close tip in from Carlos Delfino is off and the Bobcats hold on for a 87-86 win.

Andrew Bogut:

“It’s a hurtful loss,” said Bogut. “It’s going to be very tough for us now to stay in the playoff hunt. Right now, we have nine games left. We’re gong to need to win eight to make it. Seven or eight. The task is tough for us.”

Brandon Jennings:

“This was a game we should have won,” said Jennings. “It was a must-win game.”

As mentioned above Milwaukee now is three games behind Indiana (two games behind Charlotte) and they have nine games left (six on the road). The Bucks need to win some games if they feel they can make the playoffs.

Michael Redd made his return, but was scoreless in 15 minutes off the bench.
